Texas, the Cotton Bowl is upon us!
This afternoon our chefs at Milestone made a feast large and delicious enough to feed a whole pack of wildcats. Literally. As the Kansas State and Arkansas players and coaches are gearing up to play some football, the wives are getting a little entertainment out of the bargain. This afternoon the Cotton Bowl Council sponsored a very special event for the wives of the Kansas State Wildcat coaches. Aprons embroidered with the Cotton Bowl logo lined the glass bar; gift baskets filled with Williams Sonoma goodies were placed at each place setting; heaping dishes of steaming food outlined the festivities for the one-of-a-kind gourmet tailgate.
The spirited Kansas women first participated in an exciting round of our famous Stainless Steel Chef Competition, creating some inventive and interesting dishes, despite the strange secret ingredients they were given to add an extra challenge. When the games were over, it was time to get down to the good stuff: lunch!

- Texas Dog Bacon Wrapped Dog with Roasted Jalapenos
- Lobster Corn Dogs with Tarragon Dijonnaise
- Garden Dog with Fried Avocado and Chipotle Aioli
- Chicken and Sweet Potato Waffles
- Tortilla Soup Shooters
- Pulled Pork Brisket Street Tacos
- Dr. Pepper Floats
- Cinnamon Churros
The list goes on. It was incredible.
